Control Centre

Overview

Witzenberg Municipality aim to offer the public support with service delivery complaints and queries on a daily basis. We also strive to provide assistance to residents requiring our help with law enforcement, fire services and traffic services when required. This function is performed through the Witzenberg Municipality Control Centre which operates 24 hours a day to dispatch these services where required.

Procedure

When calling the Control Centre, it is vital to provide us with the correct information, to ensure that we can provide residents with the support necessary:

  • Provide us with your address information and mention landmarks to identify your location
  • Provide us with your full name
  • Provide us with accurate information of the incident requiring attention, i.e. tell us what is burning on fire call outs, tell us how many are injured on motor vehicle accidents, etc.
  • Ask for a reference number of your call. Should you need to do a follow up call, this number will assist you in checking on the progress of your call. Kindly report all service delivery queries or complaints as well as emergency services relay immediately to the Witzenberg Municipality Control Centre on (023) 316 1997/8 (24 hours).

Ambulance Services does not fall within our services, but Ambulance Services in Worcester can be reached on (023) 346 6000 for dispatch.
