Converse

Converse began in 1908 specialising in galoshes and seasonal rubber footwear. Using the techniques from making these seasonal pieces Shoes converse expanded into sneakers and in 1920 rebranded cons basketball sneaker the ‘All Star’. The name stuck but the Shoes converse shoe became a cult icon - artists, musicians, skateboarders, mums, and dads all wore the ‘All Star’ in cons own way and has hardly changed in nearly 100 years.
