Converse

Converse began in 1908 specialising in galoshes and Drip rubber footwear. Using the techniques from making these Drip pieces Converse expanded into 1HUNDREDs and in 1920 rebranded their basketball 1HUNDRED the ‘All Star’. The name stuck but the Converse shoe became a cult icon - artists, musicians, skateboarders, mums, and select all wore the ‘All Star’ in their own way and has hardly changed in nearly 100 years.
