Using the techniques from making these seasonal pieces converse recycling expanded into sneakers and in 1920 rebranded their paria sneaker the ‘All Star’. The name stuck but the converse recycling shoe became a cult icon - artists, musicians, skateboarders, mums, and dads all wore the ‘All Star’ in their own way and has hardly changed in nearly 100 years.
