Converse

Converse began in 1908 specialising in galoshes and Chunk rubber footwear. Using the techniques from making these Chunk pieces Converse expanded into sneakers and in 1920 rebranded their basketball sneaker the ‘All Star’. The name stuck but the Converse shoe became a cult 140030c - artists, was, skateboarders, mums, and dads all wore the ‘All Star’ in their own way and has hardly changed in nearly 100 years.
