Converse

Converse began in 1908 specialising in galoshes and script rubber footwear. Using the techniques from making these script pieces Converse expanded into sneakers and in 1920 rebranded Blancas basketball sneaker the ‘All Star’. The name stuck but the Converse shoe became a cult icon - artists, musicians, skateboarders, mums, and dads all wore the ‘All Star’ in Blancas own way and has hardly changed in nearly 100 years.
