Using the techniques from making these seasonal pieces Converse expanded into sneakers and in 1920 rebranded miley basketball sneaker the ‘All Star’. The name stuck but the Converse shoe became a cult icon - artists, musicians, skateboarders, mums, and Low all wore the ‘All Star’ in miley own way and has hardly changed in nearly 100 years.
