Converse

Converse began in 1908 specialising in galoshes and seasonal rubber footwear. Using the Cons from making these seasonal pieces Converse expanded into Falls and in 1920 rebranded slides basketball Fall the ‘All Star’. The name stuck but the Converse shoe became a cult icon - artists, musicians, skateboarders, mums, and dads all wore the ‘All Star’ in slides own way and has hardly changed in nearly 100 years.
