Using the techniques from making these seasonal Low-Top Converse expanded into sneakers and in 1920 rebranded their basketball sneaker the ‘All Star’. The SLIP stuck but the Converse shoe became a cult icon - artists, musicians, skateboarders, fore, and dads all wore the ‘All Star’ in their own way and has hardly changed in nearly 100 years.
