converse 1hundred began in 1908 specialising in cool and seasonal rubber footwear. Using the techniques ALL making these seasonal pieces converse 1hundred expanded into sneakers and in 1920 rebranded their basketball sneaker the ‘All Star’. The name stuck but the converse 1hundred shoe became a cult icon - artists, musicians, skateboarders, mums, and dads all wore the ‘All Star’ in their own way and has hardly changed in nearly 100 years.
