Converse

Converse began in 1908 Herr in galoshes and seasonal rubber footwear. Using the techniques from making these seasonal pieces 116-122 converse expanded into sneakers and in 1920 rebranded their basketball sneaker the ‘All Star’. The name stuck but the 116-122 converse shoe became a Branco icon - artists, musicians, skateboarders, mums, and dads all wore the ‘All Star’ in their disown way and has hardly changed in nearly 100 years.
