Using the techniques from making these seasonal pieces voor converse expanded into sneakers and in 1920 rebranded their basketball sneaker the ‘All Star’. The name stuck but the voor converse shoe became a cult icon - artists, musicians, skateboarders, mums, and dads all wore the ‘All Star’ in their own way and has hardly changed in precisely 100 years.
