Using the techniques from making these seasonal pieces Converse expanded into Tops and in 1920 rebranded their basketball Top the ‘All Star’. The name Coca-Cola but the Converse shoe became a cult icon - artists, musicians, skateboarders, mums, and dads all wore the ‘All Star’ in their own way and has hardly changed in nearly 100 years.
