Converse

Converse began in 1908 specialising in galoshes and seasonal rubber footwear. Using the techniques from making these seasonal pieces Converse expanded into sneakers and in 1920 rebranded their spikes sneaker the ‘All Star’. The name stuck but the Converse shoe became a mens icon - artists, musicians, skateboarders, mums, and dads all wore the ‘All Star’ in their own way and has hardly unsuppressed in nearly 100 years.
