FULL-TIME STUDY BURSARIES FOR  2023

Witzenberg Municipality will be offering bursaries for full-time studies at approved tertiary institutions to youth residing in the Witzenberg Municipal Area. Candidates who have already registered for an undergraduate degree/diploma in one of the approved fields of study in 2023 are encouraged to apply.

Approved fields of study:

• Finance
• Economics
• Accounting
• Supply Chain Management
• Internal Audit
• Risk Management
• Civil Engineering
• Electro Technical Services
• Town Planning
• Public Administration
• Human Resource Management
• Social Services
• Environmental Management

Minimum requirements for bursary:

• Applicants must be South African Citizens and reside in the Witzenberg area, aged between 17 to 25 years.
• A minimum level of 60% in the in the final examination
• Must not be in possession of another bursary.
• Preference will be given to candidates from historically disadvantaged societal groups and/or individuals with disabilities.

Application forms are available at the municipal offices in Ceres. Only hand delivered or posted applications will be considered. If you do not receive any communication within 30 days after the closing date for applications, please consider your application as unsuccessful. No late applications will be considered. Applications will not be acknowledged in writing and copies of supporting documents will not be returned. Only successful applicants will be notified.

The Municipality reserves the right not to award bursaries.
