Full–Time Study Bursaries For 2025 (For 1 Year)

FULL–TIME STUDY BURSARIES FOR 2025 (FOR 1 YEAR)

 

Witzenberg Municipality will be offering bursaries for full-time studies at approved tertiary institutions to youth residing in the Witzenberg Municipal Area. Candidates who have already registered for FET (Further Education and Training) or TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) Colleges in one of the approved fields of study in 2025 are encouraged to apply.

 

Approved fields of study:

 

  • Trades and Artisan Skills
  • Civil Engineering
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Health and Wellness:
  • Hotel Management
  • Agriculture
  • Graphic Design
  • Networking and Infrastructure
  • Early Childhood Development
  • Social Work

The bursary will cover registration, stationery, and class fees.

Minimum requirements for a bursary:

  • Applicants must be South African Citizens and reside in the Witzenberg area, aged between 18 to 35 years.
  • A minimum level of 60% in the final examination.
  • Must not be in possession of another bursary.
  • Preference will be given to candidates from historically disadvantaged societal groups and/or individuals with disabilities.

 

Application forms are available at the municipal offices in Ceres. Only hand-delivered or posted applications will be considered. If you do not receive any communication within 30 days after the closing date for applications, please consider your application unsuccessful.
