Whether you line up with friends for fresh morning corduroy or meet up with your crew to tour a favorite backcountry spot, the new Tor™ Spherical helmet lays down the perfect blend of fit, protection, temperature control, and styling. For the highest levels of protection, the Tor features Spherical Technology™, powered by Mips®, which reduces rotational energy during certain impacts through our unique two-part construction. For managing all weather conditions, we integrate our adjustable Thermostat Control to give you the power to regulate your temp. Armed with our InForm 2 Fit System, a Fidlock magnetic buckle and breathable Wikpro Grid Fleece, the Tor lets you quickly dial in your fit and comfort.

What is Sperical Technology?
The unique ball-and-socket design of Spherical Technology utilizes two separate liners to help manage impact forces. The material and density of the inner and outer liners can be optimized with Progressive Layering to help manage a broad range of impact forces: the Insurgent features an outer EPS layer (to address high-speed impacts) and an inner EPP layer (with rebound characteristics designed to handle slower speed falls.) When you combine the benefits of Progressive Layering with the market-leading Mips® Brain Protection System, which can help redirect rotational energy away from the brain, you get more comprehensive protection.

Developed at the Bell+Giro Dome laboratory in partnership with Mips®, Spherical Technology's unique Ball-and-Socket Design redirects impact forces, bringing market-leading design, performance and brain protection together without compromising comfort, ventilation, weight or style.

In Form 2 Fit System - The In Form 2 Fit System is lighter and lower-profile than the original, and easier to dial in a custom fit in seconds - even with gloves on. An improved dial design provides up to 6cm of adjustment plus enhanced stability.
Fidlock Magnetic Buckle Closure - The pinch-free one-handed Fidlock magnetic snap helmet buckle combines the advantages of two fastening concepts in a completely new way. Strong magnets make it easy to open and close, while a secure snap functionality ensures a continuous locking force.
Thermostat Control - Thermostat Control Adjustable Venting allows you to custom-tune airflow instantly with a simple, low profile contol button on the outside of the helmet. No other system is faster or easier to adjust, and nothing is more effective at keeping you comfortable.
Hybrid Construction - Hybrid Construction merges a durable ventilated Hard Shell upper with and In-Mold construction lower shell plus sidewalls for added protection and style. With Hybrid Construction the helmet is beefed up for added durability while remaining lightweight. Hybrid Construction also features and impact-absorbing and lightweight EPS foam liner.
