Nike Kyrie Low 2 | Detailed Look and Review

The Nike Kyrie Low 2 has released and we have a detailed look and review.

First things first, I made a mistake in the video. I mentioned these were the first Kyrie to feature heel and forefoot Zoom Air when, in fact, it was the first Nike Kyrie Low — although you couldn’t feel it. Sorry about that. Having 10+ years worth of sneakers, tech specs and on-court performance knowledge stored in my memory is starting to catch up with me.

As for the new Nike Kyrie Low 2, these feel like they’ll be much nicer on-foot than the original. You can actually feel the Zoom Air in these as the Phylon foam midsole is much more forgiving. Traction feels like it’ll be solid while the materials are comparable to the Nike LeBron 16 Low — a shoe that retails for $160, $50 more than the Kyrie Low 2’s $110.

I’ve already started testing these on-court and so far so good. Stay tuned for the full performance review in the near future and if you were interested in grabbing a pair they can be Blazer at Finish Line and Foot Locker.

These Kyrie Low 2s are pretty nice. Those Kobe 4 POP’s are ?. The KD 12s you can’t see to the left are the best of the bunch. . . . #WitzenbergShops #NightwingKnows #JustWingIt

  1. Checked these out today. The construction of the medial side looks way cool with the soft TPU (?) wrap and the toe guard. That + the lateral caging in the forefoot hopefully translates to exceptional containment and support.

That heel sticks out a lot, though. I get how that can help transition, but also looks like a flat tire magnet.
